Firefighters from Ipswich attend steel box fire

A steel toolbox set alight this morning, and two Suffolk fire engines attended to put it out.

A steel container set on fire on Rectory Hill in East Bergholt this morning – just over the Suffolk/Essex border in Colchester.

The five metres by five metres box had tools and materials inside. Nobody was injured.

The fire service took the call at 9.11am and the flames were out by 10.11am.

Firefighters used hoses and thermal imaging cameras. Engines from Ipswich East and Princes Street attended, as well as one from Colchester.
