Kyle Wiggins, 26, of Ipswich, jailed for stalking victim for six months

A man has been jailed after stalking someone for six months.

Kyle Wiggins, 26, of Clapgate Lane in Ipswich, was sentenced to more than three years in prison at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday.

He was convicted on March 20 following a five-day trial after pleading not guilty to stalking involving serious alarm and distress.

PC Jessica Watson said: “Stalking is a serious and distressing crime which can escalate.

“I would like to commend the bravery of the victim who came forward to report their experience and hope this sentence will encourage other victims of stalking to report it.”

Suffolk Police is urging anyone who believes they are being stalked to contact the police straightaway and call to 999 if there is immediate danger.
