The Fountain in Tuddenham, near Ipswich, begins next era with new manager, chefs and menu




A popular pub in Suffolk is entering its next chapter with a new manager, chefs and menu.

The Fountain in Tuddenham, near Ipswich, is now under the management of Hayley Lee after the pub was acquired by husband-and-wife team Tom and Ruth Carroll, owners of Carroll Country Pubs, last year.

Hayley brings 35 years of industry experience to the role and she is best known for her success at the Bildeston Crown where she transformed the historic hotel into an award-winning dining destination.

She said: “I’m excited to join CC Pubs and help put The Tuddenham Fountain back on the map.

“Our goal is to offer fantastic food, top-notch service, and a place where everyone feels at home.”

Leading the kitchen are husband-and-wife duo Becky and Jon Kaye, who have more than 30 years of combined culinary experience.

Their fresh menu will emphasise the best of Suffolk’s local produce with Jon focusing on savory dishes and Becky on desserts.

Becky said: “Jon and I are excited to bring seasonal specials to the menu and showcase the incredible local ingredients we have here in Suffolk.”
