On National Fish and Chip Day at the end of May, we asked SuffolkNews readers where they go for their favourite fish supper and now the results are in.
A clear winner with 66 votes was Our Plaice, at The Limeburners pub in Offton, Ipswich.
This eatery is open Wednesdays to Saturdays and offers freshly cooked fish and chips which can be eaten in the pub's beer garden or taken away.
Cod starts from £4.40 and a small portion of chips comes in at £2.
Coming second in voting was the 'none of the above' option with 33 votes, while the next most popular restaurant was Valley Way Fish Shop in Newmarket, which got 26.
This takeaway fish shop has a five-star rating on Facebook and 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor, with reviews praising the 'cheerful staff' and 'crispy chips'.
Next most popular amongst our readers was Chippy's Haverhill which, located in Strasbourg Square, garnered 24 votes in the poll.
Another favourite, Aldeburgh Fish and Chips, got 18 votes, while Peyton Plaice in Bury St Edmunds came in at 16.
Hendo's Fish and Chips in Abbeygate Street, Bury St Edmunds, and The Regal Fish Bar in Felixstowe both scored 13 votes while Bury Fish and Chip Shop and West End Fish and Chips, also in the town, scored 12.
Other notable votes included Codfather in Sudbury with 11 and Smart Fish Bar in Haverhill with nine.
