Romford man charged with drug offences after Princes Street Ipswich arrest to appear in court

A man who was charged with drug offences following an arrest in Ipswich is due to appear in court today.

Haider Salman, 21 of Romford in Essex, was arrested near Princes Street yesterday evening on suspicion of drug offences in the town.

Salman was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine.

He was also charged with possession of a controlled drug and possession of criminal property.

Salman is due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
