A14 reopens at Ipswich after tanker leaks fuel between Priory Heath and Manningtree




The A14 near Ipswich has now reopened after a broken down tanker was leaking fuel on the road.

Traffic was building on the westbound carriageway between junction 57 (Priory Heath) and junction 56 (Manningtree) this afternoon, as emergency services attended the incident.

Motorists were facing 'severe delays' on the road and were advised to exit the A14 at J58 and follow the solid circle diversion symbol.

Highways England confirmed that the road has now reopened.
