Teenage girl followed in Ipswich Maryon Road and Nacton Road on two consecutive days

A teenage girl was followed after school by a boy on two consecutive days last week.

On Thursday, May 5 between 3pm and 3.30pm, the teen and her friend walked from school along Maryon Road in Ipswich when they noticed someone was following them.

The boy walked behind them to Tesco Express on Nacton Road before taking a different direction.

The following day, Friday, May 6, the victim reported being followed by the same boy at the same time and on the same route.

The boy did not follow the victim inside the shop and did not speak to her.

Police have described the suspect as white, at least 16-years-old, of normal build, 5 feet 4 inches tall with a black beard.

He was wearing a black Adidas hooded coat, black tracksuit trousers and a cap.
