Teenagers left with serious leg injury and broken wrist after black Ford Ka crashes into telegraph pole in Holbrook




A teenage girl suffered a serious leg injury after a car crashed into a telegraph pole near Ipswich last night.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene on Primrose Hill in Holbrook just after midnight following reports of a black Ford Ka having hit the pole.

The girl, who was a front seat passenger, had to be extracted from the car and was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car was also taken to hospital with a suspected broken wrist and a back seat passenger sustained minor injuries.

A 17-year-old boy is due to be interviewed by officers in connection with the incident.
