Teenager hurt after being struck by object thrown into crowd at Ipswich Town match against Sunderland




A teenage boy was left injured after being hit by an object thrown into the crowd at the Ipswich Town match on Saturday.

Police are seeking witnesses after the incident, which happened at Portman Road in the lower Sir Bobby Robson Stand just before kick-off versus Sunderland at about 2.40pm.

Officers said the suspect, a man, threw the unknown object which struck and injured the teenage supporter.
