Ocean Fish Platter, located on Upper Brook Street, Ipswich, is the highest ranked seafood restaurant on TripAdvisor's Best Seafood Restaurants list.

Offering takeaways and eat-in dining experiences and with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, the restaurant has an average of five stars from its 406 TripAdvisor reviews.

Ocean Fish Platter serves seafood dishes as well as Mediterranean and British grill.

Reviews are very positive for the eatery, and one visitor called it a "fish lovers paradise."

The Sole Bay Fish Co. in Southwold is second on the TripAdvisor list of Suffolk's best ranked seafood restaurants.

The stunning converted barn offers indoor and outdoor seating so visitors can dine in the comfortable restaurant or al fresco if the weather allows.

With fish sharing platters, impressive lobster dishes and traditional thick cut chips, Sole Bay Fish Co. is a must for the fish lovers of Suffolk.

3. Ash Smoked Fishes - Aldeburgh

Located right on the Aldeburgh seafront, Ash Smoked Fishes offer delicious fish platters and fish dishes all smoked on site.

Smoked prawns, mackerel, herring, cockles and whelks are all available from this coastal cabin and with a view of the sea from the seating area, dinner here is sure to be one to remember.

4. Butley Orford Oysterage - Orford

As they are currently moving, the menu is also being remodelled, so it is unclear exactly what they will offer upon reopening, but previous reviews label the menu the "best food in Lowestoft by a long way" and "an amazing hidden gem."

MarkG also offers vegetarian, vegan and meat options.

6. Regatta Restaurant - Aldeburgh

Offering everything from crab to scallops to tuna, Regatta Restaurant in Aldeburgh is run by local twins Alex and Oliver Burnside.

Their delicious menu is full of seasonal produce and fresh fish dishes, and their high street restaurant is described as bright and airy, "perfect for any occasion."
