1. Joe's Sandwich Shop - Sudbury

Joe's Sandwich Shop, in North Street, serves freshly made baguettes and sandwiches with plenty of options for fillings from its town centre location.

2. Weston's Bakery - Sudbury

This bakery and coffee house, in Gaol Lane, serves highly praised breakfasts alongside tasty sandwiches and baguettes.

Freshly baked in-store, the bread is popular with Sudbury residents who buy it to take home and can also sit in for a sandwich and cake.

3. Hatters Sandwich Bar - Bury St Edmunds

One TripAdvisor commenter wrote of the eatery: "Enormous baps, white or granary, filled to bursting, made to request, and delicious home made cakes too."

Their menu includes a variety of fillings from the Suffolk Reuben, Home cured salt beef, dill pickles, sauerkraut, Russian dressing and melted Swiss cheese, to the Plum, Brie and Rocket or the Traditional Cheese and Onion.

6. The Turtle and The Bear - Felixstowe

221B is a popular bakery in Framlingham, but also has a bistro that serves lunches including sandwiches which start at just £3.20.

At this eatery you can choose from one of the many fillings, the bacon or sausage woppa or Croque Monsieur to name just three, or opt to create your own.

Snacks including pizza slices and sausage rolls are also on sale at 221B, as well as bread, pastries and cake offerings.

Fruit smoothies, milkshakes and iced lemonades are also on offer to accompany your lunchtime treat as well as salads, crisps, chips and extras.

13. Trudy's Sandwich Bar - Stowmarket

Trudy's, in Recreation Road, Stowmarket, has a 5-star rating on Facebook reviews and is popular with bulk orders for parties and events.

According to their social media, this sandwich bar offers 'breakfast, lunch and hospitality' and serves filled sandwiches, baked goods and fresh coffee from Monday to Saturday every week.

Reviewers also praised the afternoon tea, which consists of a selection of sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, cake slices and hot tea.
