Frankie & Benny's and Chiquito restaurants to reopen in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds
The restaurants, which are both owned by The Restaurant Group, are launching click and collect and delivery services as well as dine in options to ensure everyone is catered to.
Frankie & Benny's in Ipswich's Nacton Road reopened for dine in and click and collect customers on Monday and will offer delivery from tomorrow.
The Bury St Edmunds branch will also offer all three types of service from tomorrow.
Safety measures, including social distancing signage, enhanced cleaning and health screening for staff, have been put in place in all restaurants.
Those wishing to eat in at the restaurants are also asked to book in advance and encouraged to pay at the table.
Chiquito in Nacton Road, Ipswich, will also open for click and collect, delivery and dine in services from Monday.
Mark Chambers, chief executive of The Restaurant Group's leisure division, said: “We are delighted to be reopening more of our restaurants and very much look forward to welcoming back our guests. Our priority will be to ensure the health and safety of our teams and guests whilst providing a first-class experience.
"We are very pleased with the feedback we have received from returning guests so far and we will be monitoring feedback very closely to ensure we continue to deliver a great and safe experience."
He added that the company was 'thrilled' to be able to offer the Government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which sees diners get 50 per cent off their food bill on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the month of August.
