A14 westbound near Orwell Bridge in Ipswich blocked with three-mile traffic after reports of two-vehicle crash
Part of the A14 in Suffolk was blocked this morning with traffic queueing for three miles after a crash.
The westbound carriageway was partially closed and traffic was building before the Orwell Bridge in Ipswich after junction 57 at Nacton.
According to AA Traffic Maps, the crash involved two vehicles - a van and a lorry.
Originally the whole road was blocked but later this was reduced to just one lane.
There were queues back to junction 58 (Seven Hills) and the eastbound lane was also reportedly queueing back to junction 55 (Copdock).
Police attended on the scene and recovery of the vehicles took place.
The road has now fully reopened.
