Ann Summers to shut in Tavern Street, Ipswich, next month

A lingerie and adult retailer in Ipswich town centre has been handed a notice by its landlord – and will close next month.

Ann Summers, in Tavern Street, will shut its doors on August 6.

Signs warning of the closure first appeared on the front of the store two weeks ago.

A spokesperson for the firm said: "We can confirm that our Ipswich store will be closing on August 6, 2025. The closure follows notice being served by our landlord.

“We remain committed to serving our customers and invite you to visit our nearby stores in Norwich and Colchester.

“We’d like to thank all our customers for their continued support."
