Traffic chaos on A14 eastbound near Ipswich between junction 56 Wherstead and junction 57 Ravenswood after vehicle breakdown

Queues are building and drivers have been warned of 30-minute delays on the A14 near Ipswich this morning after a vehicle has broken down.

One lane of the dual-carriageway is closed eastbound between junction 56, Wherstead, and junction 57, Ravenswood.

This is due to a broken down vehicle in the lane.

National Highways East confirmed there is around 6.5 miles of congestion approaching the block.

This is causing around 30 minute delays to journey times.
