Ipswich residents asked to leave unemptied brown bins out today

Traffic congestion in Ipswich caused some brown bins to be missed from collection.

Ipswich Borough Council has asked residents whose brown bins were not emptied to leave them out again today.

The council is the only one in Suffolk to keep brown bins for garden waste free of charge.

The bins are designed to be filled with grass clippings, leaves, dead flowers or plants and windfall fruit but not kitchen waste

Due to traffic congestion around Ipswich today not all brown bins were collected. If your bin wasn't emptied today, please leave this out for kerbside collection tomorrow (10 May).
