Trailer released for 'A Bit of Light' filmed in Ipswich, Leiston and Framlingham starring Academy Award Winner Anna Paquin
The trailer for a film that was shot in a handful of Suffolk towns and villages and stars an Academy Award winning actress has been released.
A Bit of Light was filmed in Ipswich, Framlingham and Leiston and yesterday a trailer was released by production company Infinity Hill Ltd.
Starring Academy Award Winner Anna Paquin, who has featured in a wide array of films and TV series including X-men and True Blood, the story follows Ella, who at the age of almost 40 is forced to move back in with her father, who is played by Ray Winstone.
Ella tries to stay sober after giving up custody of her daughters to her ex-husband and his partner.
In the trailer, which is almost two minutes long, other famous faces including Youssef Kerkour, known for his parts in TV series including Marcella and Stay Close, and Pippa Bennet-Warner who featured in Gangs of London among others.
A spokesperson for Suffolk-based Precious Agency confirmed they cast all of the local extras, including adults and children, and added that they were 'super proud'.
It is not clear when the film is due to be released.
