Suffolk Military Show returns to Trinity Park, in Ipswich, next month
An annual event celebrating the best of military history returns to Suffolk next month.
Featuring historical re-enactments, an American Civil War display, a medieval knight tournament, an impressive collection of military vehicles and the appearance of television personalities, the Suffolk Military Show will return to Trinity Park, Ipswich.
The event promises a family-friendly day of fun where visitors are given the chance to experience more than a millennium of military history.
In addition to the events, attendees will be given the chance to meet-and-greet with television personalities Bruce Crompton from Combat Dealers, Corporal Nauyokas from Bad Lads Army and Jason Salkey from Sharpe.
A trader’s fair and food stalls will also be available.
Showcases include:
- Viking warrior combat
- Medieval knight tournament
- Napoleonic encampment
- American Civil War display
- Home Front village with traditional land army games
- Sunday Remembrance service
On Saturday, gates open at 9pm and shut at 5pm.
On Sunday, the day’s event runs from 10am to 4pm.
