Two men arrested after serious sexual assault in Ipswich

Two men have been arrested following a serious sexual assault in Ipswich.

Officers on patrol in the town centre encountered a woman yesterday morning at around 3.50am who reported that she had been assaulted in St Stephen’s Church Lane.

Two men were arrested and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where they currently remain for questioning.

The victim is being supported by specialist trained officers.
