Two teenagers arrested on suspicion of theft of mail after open parcel boxes found discarded near Ipswich car park released under investigation




Two teenagers who were arrested in connection with parcel thefts in Ipswich have been released under investigation.

It comes after police were called to a suspected fly-tipping incident, after a number of open parcel boxes were found discarded behind Bridge Wood car park in Orwell Country Park on Tuesday.

Officers carried out further enquiries and two men, both aged 18, were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of theft of mail.

Both men were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and have subsequently been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
