Imagine the scene: a plate filled to the brim with sausages, bacon, eggs, beans and all the extras that put the 'full' in Full English.

It's the meal that many of us crave first thing on a Sunday, and a staple that can be found on the menus of many eateries across the county.

To mark St George's Day, we're asking you to have the final say by backing the business in the county that you believe offers the perfect version of the much-loved meal in our poll.

Waggon & Horses in Newmarket was among the eateries nominated on our social media channels, with Angela Preece describing it as 'brilliant' and Charlie Nash saying it was 'top notch'.

The town's The Bushel, The Pantry and nearby La Hogue all received votes too.

Readers also backed Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds, which Andy Woodcock said was 'the best by far'.

There were votes for other cafés and restaurants in the town, including Baileys 2, Wilcrofts, Northend Café, Suffolk Carver and Folk Café - as well as nearby Courtyard Café in Ixworth and Hungry Stag Café in Woolpit.

Elsewhere in the county, people showed their appreciation for the food at Huffers and The Painters Café, both in Sudbury, Suffolk Water Park near Ipswich, Starburger Grill in Haverhill and Framlingham's Common Room.

One thing is for sure: Suffolk has an abundance of eateries that offer a delicious Full English, as we received hundreds of nominations for breakfasts at other businesses in the county too.
