Woman kicked and punched by man in daylight attack on Stoke Bridge in Ipswich

A young woman was kicked and punched by a man in a daylight attack in Ipswich last week.

Officers said the woman, 19, was walking towards Dock Street from Stoke Bridge at about 2.30pm on Monday, January 10, when she was kicked and punched.

She did not suffer any injuries in the assault.

Police said the suspect is described as a white man of slim build, aged in his 30s.

He had blonde, medium length hair and was wearing a black jacket, a black hat and had earphones in at the time.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time or who knows who was responsible should contact Ipswich police on 101, quoting crime reference 37/1857/22.
