Emergency services called to gas leak at home, in Vernon Street, Ipswich, with woman taken to hospital

A woman was taken to hospital after being exposed to gas at a town home last night.
The fire and ambulance services was called to reports of a gas leak at the property in Vernon Street, Ipswich, at around 10.15pm.
Two engines were dispatched to the scene. Crews isolated the gas main and ensured it was safe.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said a woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.
