Details confirmed for Ipswich Town's FA Youth Cup fourth-round tie with Nottingham Forest

Ipswich Town will take on Nottingham Forest in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup at Portman Road next month.

The two sides were drawn with each other in the last 32 earlier this month, with a date for the tie now confirmed for Tuesday, January 17 (7pm).

The Tractor Boys battled back from 2-0 down to beat Huddersfield Town 3-2 in the third round, with goals from Nico Valentine and Finley Barbrook taking the tie to extra-time.

Osman Foyo's header in extra-time sealed the comeback for Town, who had already seen off both Aveley (9-0) and Bromley (2-1) in this year's competition.

Meanwhile, Forest, who were beaten finalists in last year's FA Youth Cup, losing 3-1 to Manchester United, started their campaign in 2022/23 with a 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion last week.

Tickets for the fourth-round clash at Portman Road are priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions, with tickets available to purchase on the turnstile with cash.
