Ipswich Town target and former loanee Bersant Celina completes Kasimpaşa loan move
Ipswich Town's hopes of bring Bersant Celina back to Portman Road for a third loan spell are over, with the Kosovan having completed a move to Kasimpaşa.
The Blues had been plotting a move to re-sign the popular midfielder, who scored six times for the club last season, but a deal could not be struck.
Celina was a target for a number of clubs in England, including Stoke City and Preston North End of the Championship, but Town were the only club in England who could sign him due to work permit related issues.
The 25-year-old has now completed a season-long loan move to the Turkish side, who finished 11th in the Super Lig last season.
Town continue to boast a number of options in their ranks instead of Celina, and Kieran McKenna could still make further additions to his squad this summer.
