Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday have been installed as the early favourites for the Sky Bet League One title.

Following the release of fixtures for the 2022/23 season, teams are now able to plan ahead and prepare for the forthcoming year.

The two heavyweights of the division are set to battle it out for the automatic promotion spots, according to bookmakers.

BetVictor has put both clubs as 5/1 favourites to lift the title, while recently relegated Derby County are 10/1 favourites.

After suffering heartbreak in the play-offs last season, Wednesday have strengthened their squad this summer, adding Michael Ihiekwe and Michael Smith to their ranks after the pair were released by Rotherham.

Questions still remain over the future of Derby, with a buyer for the Rams yet to be found.

After that, Peterborough United are 11/1, Barnsley 12/1, Bolton 12/1, Portsmouth 14/1.
