Ipswich Town players and coaching staff provide negative Covid-19 tests
All members of the first team squad and coaching staff at Ipswich Town have provided negative Covid-19 tests.
The Tractor Boys have been severely impacted by the virus in recent weeks, with 11 players and coaches returning positive tests during December, which in turn resulted in the postponement of four EFL League One fixtures.
However, ahead of Saturday's scheduled return to action in front of the Sky Sports cameras at home against Swindon Town (5.30pm), the club has reported a clean bill of health after the latest batch of testing.
Rigorous precautions remain in place at Ipswich's Playford Road training base, with no dressing room areas in use, nor the canteen.
The building is limited to just a couple of members of staff, with the first-team players turning up for training already changed and leaving straight after training is finished.
