Ipswich Town will lock horns with Arsenal Under-21s for the second season running in the Papa John's Trophy.

Earlier this week it was revealed that the Tractor Boys had been drawn in Southern Group H of the competition alongside Cambridge United and Northampton Town.

And now that trio have been joined by the Gunners' potential stars of the future following this morning's draw, which was conducted by ex-England defender Michael Dawson and former Republic of Ireland international Clinton Morrison live on Sky Sports News.

Last term Ipswich topped a group that contained West Ham United Under-21s, Colchester United and Gillingham before bowing out of the competition with a penalty shootout defeat at the hands of Arsenal's young guns in the first knockout round.

The match could also provide Ipswich's new loan addition Tyreece John-Jules with an opportunity to come up against his parent club, having finalised his move to Suffolk yesterday.

Earlier today Ipswich also learned their fixtures for the upcoming EFL League One campaign, which will start with a home clash against Bolton Wanderers.

Ian Evatt's men will make the trip to Portman Road – a venue where they won 5-1 last season – on Saturday, July 30.
