Ipswich Town to be without Bersant Celina and Wes Burns as John McGreal focuses on Barrow FA Cup tie

Interim manager John McGreal has revealed that neither Bersant Celina nor Wes Burns will feature during tomorrow's Emirates FA Cup second round replay at lower-league Barrow.

The duo have missed the Tractor Boys' recent fixtures with injury – and they will not have recovered in time for Wednesday's tie at the The Dunes Hotel Stadium, which is being shown live on ITV4.

McGreal said: "Burns and Celina are still out of the equation at the minute, but it’s a full squad to choose from otherwise."

Meanwhile, McGreal has insisted that he has not considered being in charge of the team for Saturday's home League One clash with Sunderland.

It was expected that a permanent replacement for Paul Cook would have been appointed by then, but as yet there has been announcement despite strong suggestions that Neil Harris is the frontrunner.

He added: "We’ve got the game tomorrow and the boys have been prepped. They have recovered well from Wigan and we've kept the feel-good factor at the training ground going.

"We're all taking each day and game as it comes because it's a busy period for the club. As I said when I took over, I knew the situation and what was happening, so all we have been doing is looking to prepare us for each match.

"I never get ahead of myself and right now, the focus is obviously on Barrow. The most important game for the club right now is the FA Cup replay tomorrow evening.

"I’m really not in the process of thinking about Sunderland at the weekend, but of course everyone is aware of the ticket sales and it should be a brilliant event for the club."
