Injury blow for Ipswich Town's Ben Morris

Ben Morris faces another lengthy spell on the sidelines after tearing his cruciate ligament in training last week.

The 21-year-old striker returned to action at the start of this year after missing most of 2019 with the same injury to his left knee.

“Ben has sadly re-torn his cruciate ligament,” Town physio Matt Byard told the Club website.

“He is seeing a specialist next week and we will take it from there but obviously it will mean an extensive recovery period.”
