Seven Ipswich Town fixtures moved for television selection including clashes with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City




Seven of Ipswich Town’s festive fixtures have been moved for television selection and they will not have a match on Boxing Day this term.

Kieran McKenna’s men were meant to travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on December 26 but the game will now take place on Friday, December 27 (8.15pm), and will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.

In the lead up to Christmas, the Blues will be also be on Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday, December 3 at home to Crystal Palace (7.30pm) before hosting AFC Bournemouth on Sunday, December 8 (2pm).

Fixtures at Wolves and at home to Newcastle remain the same but because Town’s match against the Gunners will take place a day later, the visit of Chelsea has also been pushed back, to Monday, December 30 (7.45pm).

In the New Year, the Blues’ trip to Fulham will now be broadcast on Sky Sports on Sunday, January 5 (2pm) while TNT Sports will show Brighton’s visit to Portman Road on Thursday, January 16 (7.30pm).

Town’s clash at home to reigning champions Manchester City will take Sky Sports’ 4.30pm ‘Super Sunday’ slot on January 19 and the Blues’ trip to Anfield will remain on Saturday, January 25.
