Ipswich Town complete transfer of highly-rated Norway international Sindre Walle Egeli from FC Nordsjælland
Sindre Walle Egeli has become Ipswich Town’s fourth signing in the last two days.
Yesterday the Tractor Boys confirmed the arrivals of Darnell Furlong and Ivan Azon, while earlier today Marcelino Nunez’s switch from Norwich City was made official.
And now 19-year-old Egeli has joined the ranks at Portman Road, putting pen to paper on a five-year deal after Town had reached an agreement over an undisclosed fee with Danish club FC Nordsjælland.
Egeli, who has been capped once by Norway at senior international level, told the club’s website: “I’m really excited to have signed for this club.
“This is a club with great history and great plans for the future and this is something I really want to be a part of.
“As soon as I knew Ipswich were interested I was excited to come and I believe this club is the perfect place for me to progress in my career.
“I have had some great conversations with the manager and now I can’t wait to get started, meet my teammates and also the supporters.”
Egeli has scored 11 goals from 43 appearances since joining Nordsjælland at the age of 16.
