Premier League Fulham lie in wait for Ipswich Town or Chelmsford City in the FA Youth Cup




The winner of Ipswich Town's second round FA Youth Cup tie with Chelmsford City will host Premier League Fulham in the next round, writes Mikey Hale.

The Blues progressed to the second round following a comfortable 4-1 victory over Southend United in October.

The Cottagers now await the victor of the upcoming second round tie, which is scheduled to take place a week today (7.30pm).

Town's second round tie will be played behind closed doors but Chelmsford will be providing a live stream, with further details to be announced in due course.

Should Adam Atey's side progress, then Ipswich will once again seek to provide a live stream for the third round tie against Fulham.

Earlier kick-off for Oxford trip

Meanwhile, Town's trip to Oxford United on Tuesday, December 1 will now kick off at 7pm.

The Blues were originally set to face Karl Robinson's side at 7.45pm, but the action will now start 45 minutes earlier at Kassam Stadium.
