Ipswich Town inform six youngsters they are being released
Ipswich Town have confirmed six of their youngsters will not be offered fresh terms when their contracts expire at the end of the season.
As was reported earlier today, goalkeepers Harry Wright and Adam Przybek – as well as forwards Zak Brown and Kai Brown – were among those that have been informed they are being let go.
Also departing Portman Road is Ben Folami, who has made seven senior appearances for the Tractor Boys, four of which came in the Championship.
He scored once in an EFL Trophy win against Gillingham and has spent part of the current season in his native Australia on loan with Melbourne Victory.
Academy product Allan Viral, who played twice in the EFL Trophy this season, is also being released.
"We'd like to wish all the boys the very best of luck for the future," Town's general manager of football operations, Lee O'Neill, told the club's website.
