Gassan Ahadme departs Ipswich Town to join Charlton Athletic
Gassan Ahadme has departed Ipswich Town to join Sky Bet League One outfit Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old has signed a four-year deal at the Addicks – who finished 16th in England’s third tier last term under boss Nathan Jones.
The striker joined the Blues in September 2022 from Burton Albion and made eight appearances for Town in all competitions, scoring once.
Ahadme, who has also played for Portsmouth and is a Norwich City academy graduate, spent last season on loan at Cambridge United where he netted 13 times during 33 appearances for the U’s.
The former Real Oviedo B front man scored two late goals for Cambridge at The Valley under Neil Harris in a dramatic 2-2 draw last campaign.
