Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna has been nominated for the EFL Championship Manager of the Season award.

The Blues currently sit top of the Sky Bet Championship in their first season back in the division after promotion from League One last campaign.

Town are currently the division’s top scorers, with 84 goals, and have accumulated 87 points.

The Blues boss has also made Portman Road a fortress, as Town have lost once at home all season.

McKenna is up against Hull City head coach Liam Rosenior and Leeds United manager Daniel Farke for the award and the winner will be announced at the league’s annual ceremony in London on Sunday April 14.
