Ipswich Town: FA Cup away trip to AFC Wimbledon or Ramsgate awaits the Tractor Boys
Ipswich Town have been drawn away against either Wimbledon AFC or Ramsgate in the third round of the FA Cup.
Wimbledon, who are 10th in League Two, host the Kent side tomorrow evening, who are top of the Isthmian League South East Division.
The Tractor Boys have never previously met either club in the FA Cup and entered the competition at the third round stage for the first time since the 2018/19 season.
Wimbledon and Ramsgate face off against each other at Plough Lane in their second round tie live on ITV4 tomorrow at 7.45pm.
Third round ties will take place over the weekend of Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 7.
Last season, Kieran McKenna’s men progressed through rounds one, two and three before losing to eventual Championship title winners Burnley in the fourth after a replay at Turf Moor.
Premier League leaders Arsenal were drawn against eight-time winners Liverpool in the third round and Sunderland will host Newcastle in a Tyne-Wear derby at the Stadium of Light.
