Ipswich Town: Blues fans to travel nearly 6,000 miles on away days with Newcastle United supporters travelling the most

Ipswich Town fans are set to travel nearly 6,000 miles on away days for the upcoming 2024/2025 Premier League season.

Out of the 20 teams in the top flight, the Blues are seventh-highest with a £883 cost of fuel per fan and will travel 5,884 miles according to research by cinch.

The cost includes the first away fixture of the campaign for Kieran McKenna’s side against champions Manchester City on Saturday, August 24.

Newcastle United supporters will travel the furthest with 9,444 miles of travel totalling a cost of £1,417 per fan.

Arsenal fans face the shortest distance of travelling with 3,966 miles and a cost of £595 per fan.

Town face Liverpool in their first Premier League fixture of the season on Saturday, August 17 with a 12.30pm kick-off.
