Ipswich Town: Portman Road fixture against Aston Villa in September selected for Sky Sports coverage




Ipswich Town’s home fixture against Aston Villa in September has been selected for Sky Sports coverage.

The match has been moved to 2pm on Sunday, September 29, after it was set to be played the previous day.

Sky have announced the matches they will be showing live from the first six rounds of the 2024/25 Premier League season, meaning no other Blues match prior to Villa’s visit is set to move.

However, the game against Unai Emery’s men could still face a further move back to the Saturday with an 8pm start if Villa are scheduled to play in the Champions League the following Tuesday.

Town’s opening game on their Premier League return, against Liverpool at Portman Road, is also being shown live on TV.

Kieran McKenna’s side kick-off at 12.30pm on Saturday, August 17, on TNT Sports, which had been previously announced with the fixture release.
