Ipswich Town receive Jan Nolan fitness boost




Jan Nolan is in contention to return to the Ipswich Town squad for tomorrow's home encounter against Accrington Stanley.

The midfielder missed last weekend's 4-1 victory at Blackpool with a calf strain.

However, he returned to training during the week and is set to be included for the visit of Stanley.

Ipswich boss Paul Lambert said: "Nolo is ok. He's back which is good for us because he's been playing really well.

"We're still down to the bare bones of picking a squad but Emyr (Huws) came in and did well. Nolo coming back is a big plus for us."

Meanwhile, Stanley boss John Coleman has said his side will travel to Portman Road 'full of confidence' .
