Ipswich Town to host Nice at Portman Road in final pre-season fixture before Premier League campaign

Ipswich Town will host Nice in their final pre-season fixture before the upcoming Premier League campaign.

The match will take place at Portman Road on Saturday, August 10 (12.30pm BST) against the side that finished fifth in Ligue 1 last term.

Much like the upcoming pre-season friendly at home to Fortuna Dusseldorf (Saturday, July 27 – 3pm BST) , there will be a period of extra-time following the 90-minute match.

This fixture concludes Town’s pre-season calendar, which kicks-off against Shakhtar Donetsk on Saturday (1pm BST) in Austria.

The Blues will then face Fortuna Dusseldorf at Portman Road before travelling to Germany to take on Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday, August 2 (2.30pm BST).

On Saturday, August 3 (12.30pm BST) another match in Germany awaits, this time against Hoffenheim, before the visit of Nice.
