Ipswich Town reward Jack Manly with three-year professional contract
Jack Manly has been rewarded with his first professional contract with Ipswich Town.
The talented midfielder put pen to paper on a three-year deal after turning 17 earlier this week.
Manly was part of Adem Atay's under-18s side who narrowly lost out to Liverpool in the FA Youth Cup semi-final at Portman Road in May.
He already has one senior appearance to his name, having become Town's second youngest player at the age of 16 years and 22 days as a second-half substitute at Crawley in the Papa John's (EFL) Trophy last season.
Having been playing between the U18s and U23s this season, he will be hoping to be involved when Town host Winslow United at Portman Road in the first round of the FA Cup, with a date for the tie still to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, the club have revealed they sold 4,313 iFollow passes to watch the Blues' 4-0 victory at Portsmouth on Tuesday.
The figure was more than any other Sky Bet League One club.
A further 1,260 were in the away section at Fratton Park.
