Ipswich Town winger Omari Hutchinson linked with Brentford transfer after speculation liking England Under-21 international with moves to Nottingham Forest, Everton and West Ham United
Brentford are the latest Premier League club to have been linked with a move for Ipswich Town attacker Omari Hutchinson.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Tractor Boys on a permanent deal from Chelsea last summer for around £20m, has been linked with moves to the likes of Nottingham Forest, Everton and West Ham United in recent weeks.
And now, according to Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Bees could potentially enter the running to sign the winger.
The reporter added that while no contact has been made between the clubs, Brentford – who are managed by former Town loanee Keith Andrews – could ramp up their interest once Bryan Mbeumo finalises his expected move to Manchester United.
Speculation surrounding Hutchinson’s future has intensified since he helped England to retain the UEFA European Under-21 Championship title earlier this summer. The former Arsenal trainee scored in the 3-2 after extra time victory against Germany in the final.
Hutchinson made a total of 32 appearances in all competitions for Town last season, from which he found the back of the net on three occasions.
