LEARN MOREIpswich Town striker Tyreece Simpson is reportedly a summer transfer target of three Championship clubs.
The 20-year-old's future at Portman Road is in major doubt after he informed the club in April of his desire to move on.
Town still activated the one-year option in his contract on May 18, which ensured they would be due a transfer fee were he to depart during this window.
Peterborough United have made their interest in Simpson known in recent days, but Posh's director of football Barry Fry conceded Ipswich were unlikely to sell the Stowmarket-raised forward to an EFL League One rival.
However, according to The Telegraph, Simpson is a 'major target' of beaten Championship play-off finalists Huddersfield Town, while Middlesbrough and Luton Town are also said to be closely monitoring the situation.
The report adds that Simpson, who scored 11 goals in 30 appearances during a loan spell with Swindon Town last season, is valued at £250,000.
