Ipswich Town reportedly in the running to sign former Glasgow Rangers and Leicester City forward Joe Dodoo from Wigan Athletic
Ipswich Town are reportedly among a number of clubs that are interested in signing Joe Dodoo.
The 25-year-old, who burst on to the scene by scoring a hat-trick on his senior debut for Leicester City in 2015, is currently on the books at Wigan Athletic.
However, his contract is due to expire at the end of the season and while Wigan are thought to be keen to retain the attacker's services, Football Insider has suggested a number of sides are eyeing up a free move.
Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham United are said to be chief among them, but Ipswich boss Paul Cook is also believed to be an admirer of the former England Under-18 international's ability.
After breaking through at Leicester, Dodoo has gone on to play for the likes of Bolton Wanderers, Turkish outfit Ankara Keçiörengücü and Scottish champions Rangers.
Meanwhile, Football League World has reported that Ipswich striker Freddie Sears is a transfer target of his former club Colchester United.
Sears, who joined Ipswich from the U's in 2015, will become a free agent in the summer.
He has made a total of 217 appearances for the Tractor Boys, which have yielded a return of 34 goals.
