Tottenham Hotspur reportedly open to loaning Troy Parrott back to Ipswich Town next season

Ipswich Town are reportedly keen to retain the services of loanee striker Troy Parrott next season.

The Tottenham Hotspur frontman joined the Tractor Boys in January on a loan deal until the end of the current campaign.

Parrott has found the net just once from his 15 appearances in an Ipswich shirt, but according to Football League World, boss Paul Cook would like to keep him at Portman Road for another campaign.

The report adds that while Spurs would prefer to loan the Republic of Ireland striker out to a Championship side, they have been pleased with the progress he has made at Ipswich and would consider sending him back to Suffolk if the club remains in League One next term.

Parrott spent the first half of 2020/21 in the second tier with Millwall, for whom he was unable to score in 14 outings.
