LEARN MORELincoln City are reportedly close to securing the services of Ipswich Town midfielder Teddy Bishop.
The academy product was expected to join MK Dons, with Ipswich thought to have granted the player permission to discuss terms regarding a switch to Buckinghamshire.
However, that move now appears to have stalled and according to TWTD, another League One club – Lincoln – have jumped to the front of the queue for Bishop's signature.
The report adds that his transfer to Sincil Bank could be completed shortly.
Having risen through the ranks at Portman Road, Bishop has gone on to make 132 senior appearances for the Tractor Boys, scoring five goals.
His last outing came during the recent pre-season friendly at Bury Town, which the non-league side won in a penalty shootout.
