Ipswich Town reportedly most likely to bring Bersant Celina back to Portman Road on loan from Dijon
Ipswich Town reportedly remain firmly in the hunt to bring Bersant Celina back to the club – although it now looks likely that any deal will initially be a loan.
Speculation suggested earlier this month that the Tractor Boys were keen to be reunited with the winger, who enjoyed a positive 2017/18 campaign on loan at Portman Road while on Manchester City's books.
He has since moved on to Swansea City and Dijon, but with his current employers having been relegated to the second tier of French football, it is expected Celina – along with a host of his team-mates – will head for pastures new this summer.
According to TWTD, the 24-year-old is open to the prospect of rejoining Ipswich, but a permanent move at this moment is becoming increasingly unlikely.
Instead, the report adds that an initial loan agreement with a view to making the switch permanent next summer is more of a viable notion.
Championship duo Hull City and Coventry City are both said to also be in the running to sign the Kosovo international, who has been capped on 29 occasions by his country.
