Ipswich Town linked with move for FC Dallas’ former Benfica striker Petar Musa
Ipswich Town are reportedly considering a move for FC Dallas striker Petar Musa.
Tractor Boys boss Kieran McKenna has made five additions to his squad so far this summer – and it is believed that he is keen to make further signings before his side’s Premier League opener at home against Liverpool on August 17.
And according to TEAMtalk, a move for Musa could be in the offing.
The Croatian has been in good form in the MLS this term with a return of 14 goals from 25 appearances.
Musa only joined Dallas in February from Portuguese side Benfica for a club-record fee in the region of 7.5m.
The 26-year-old, who has six senior international caps, featured on 66 occasions for Benfica – scoring 17 goals in the process.
News of Ipswich’s supposed interest in Musa comes following speculation that they have seen a bid rejected for Blackburn Rovers frontman Sammie Szmodics.
Further reports today have suggested that Leeds United have entered the running for Szmodics.
