Ipswich Town reportedly agree fee to sign Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney while Nathan Broadhead closes in on Wrexham transfer
Ipswich Town are reportedly close to securing the services of a midfielder, while one of their attackers could be set for a move away.
According to TWTD, the Tractor Boys have agreed a fee with fellow Championship outfit Middlesbrough for Hayden Hackney.
The report adds that Ipswich’s offer is around the £15m mark, with the 23-year-old now believed to be taking some time to consider his future.
Hackney, who came through the ranks at The Riverside Stadium, has previously been linked with a handful of Premier League clubs.
Meanwhile, widespread reports this morning have claimed that Nathan Broadhead is closing in on a switch to Wrexham.
The Hollywood-owned Welsh club are said to have had a bid in the region of £7m accepted for the Wales international, who has 12 months left to run on his Town deal.
Should the 27-year-old complete the move, he will become Wrexham’s record signing.
Broadhead has scored 23 goals from 83 appearances since joining Ipswich from Everton in January 2023.
